Lawyers For The People
Gladio provides some direct legal services, in a a few legal areas. Even though our mission is to make the civil justice system accessible to everyone, we cannot guarantee we will be able to help you. If you need legal help, contact us and we will try to get you some information and put you in contact with folks who do provide services in that area.
LEGAL AID AND MORE means that we can help with many legal problems, but our goal is to empower you understand the issues and the law so you can be ready to use your rights in the future.

FEES
Low income clients pay nothing
Low income means “less than 150% of the Federal Poverty Level”. In English, our services are free if you make about $19,000 as a single person, or about $40,000 for a household of 4 people.
When we help clients of moderate means, businesses and community organizations, they are expected to contribute to the cost of their services.
Landlord Tenant Conflicts
Through an agreement with the Snohomish County Legal Services, we have helped many people fight evictions, get evictions removed from the record and helped negotiate deposit returns.
Employee Rights
If you are not given lunch breaks, rest periods, or overtime pay, your employer is probably stealing money from you. We can help with those situations and other employment issues.
Consumer Rights
Washington law provides rules that businesses must follow to create a fair marketplace. False advertising, discrimination, and harassment are not acceptable. We help victims of these and other consumer rights problems, including dealing with debt collectors and understanding bankruptcy as a way to resolve your debts.
General Legal Advice
Sometimes you just need to ask someone about how to respond to a nasty letter or help you understand a contract. We can help with a wide variety of general legal questions, and will try to guide you to a specialist who can assist with your legal problems.
